Fatburger Menu Price Canada [2026 Updated]
So, what does a meal at Fatburger actually cost in Canada right now? You can keep it under $10 with a 1/4 lb Baby Fatburger at $9.99, but a proper meal climbs quickly, with the Double Straight Up Cheeseburger Meal sitting at $17.49 before you start adding extras.
I’ve always found Fatburger feels a little different from the usual fast-food burger stop. There’s that hot griddle steam when the Alberta Angus beef hits the surface, followed by a proper sear and plenty of juice in the patty; the brioche bun and fresh toppings make the whole thing feel less like you’re eating a hockey puck wrapped in paper.
The prices cover a pretty wide stretch. A Side of Gravy is only $1.86 and Crispy Skin-On Fries are $4.99, while a Double Kingburger reaches $21.86 and a 16-piece order of Buffalo’s World Famous Wings or Boneless Wings costs $32.50. Then there are combo upgrades, drink choices, Lumberjack poutine, hand-scooped real ice cream shakes and other extras that can push the bill higher than you planned.
I didn’t pull these numbers from a generic menu database or take a single location as the Canadian price. I manually checked Fatburger Canada’s official online ordering menus across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, comparing locations to account for franchise-level price differences, local overhead and regional GST, PST or HST where applicable. That’s why you may see a small price variation from one province or location to another, and why a delivery-app total can look different from the dine-in or drive-thru price.
Below, I’ve broken down the full Fatburger menu with the current Canadian prices so you can see exactly what each burger, side, wing order, shake and meal is likely to cost.

Top Fatburger Menu Items: What’s Actually Worth the Price?
Original Fatburger
The Original Fatburger is where I’d start before getting distracted by the bigger burgers. The Alberta Angus beef has a proper beefy flavour, and the patty stays juicy rather than turning into the dry fast-food hockey puck you sometimes get when a burger has been sitting around.
There’s a noticeable difference in the way this burger eats. The patty is thick, the brioche bun has enough softness to hold everything together, and the toppings give you that messy combination of beef juices, melted cheese and sauce that ends up on the wrapper. It’s not a dainty burger.
The $12.49 price for the burger itself also makes more sense to me than jumping straight into a $20-plus combo. Once fries and a drink enter the picture, you’re firmly into premium fast food territory, but the made-to-order cooking is part of what you’re paying for. It takes longer than a quick McDonald’s drive-thru stop, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing when the patty arrives hot and juicy.
XL Kingburger
Then there’s the XL Kingburger, which is less “I’ll just grab a burger” and more “I’ve made a decision I may regret later.” It has serious physical weight to it, and once you’ve got the wrapper open, you can see why the price climbs to $21.86.
The beef, bun and toppings stack up into a genuinely filling burger. There’s plenty of grease on the wrapper, the cheese starts melting into the hot patty, and every bite feels substantial rather than airy.
This is the gut-bomb. I wouldn’t order it because I wanted something light, because that would be completely missing the point. For a big appetite, though, the sheer size makes the higher price easier to understand.
Hawaiian Cheeseburger
The Hawaiian Cheeseburger takes the usual salty beef-and-cheese formula somewhere much sweeter. The grilled pineapple brings a sticky, caramelized edge that cuts through the richness of the beef and creates a proper sweet-and-savory profile rather than just throwing a slice of pineapple onto a burger for novelty.
I like the contrast here. You get the savoury Alberta Angus beef, gooey cheese and soft brioche bun, then suddenly there’s that warm pineapple sweetness coming through. It’s a messier burger than the Original, but in a good way.
The important part is that the pineapple is grilled. Cold, watery pineapple would kill the whole thing. Warmed on the grill, it works with the beef instead of fighting it.
Traditional or Lumberjack Poutine
Fatburger’s poutine is very much a West Coast version of comfort food. The fries are skin-on and substantial, the gravy is rich enough to soak into them, and the cheese curds give you those little salty, squeaky pockets of dairy that make poutine so addictive.
The Lumberjack version goes even harder, especially when you’re already dealing with a burger and fries. It’s the sort of order that looks manageable when it lands on the table and considerably less manageable once you realise how much food is actually sitting there.
I’ll put a small asterisk beside the poutine, though. It’s good by British Columbia and West Coast standards, but I wouldn’t put it in front of a Quebec native and expect them to quietly approve. Quebec has its own poutine standards, and people there can be serious about the details.
Buffalo’s Wings & Tenders
The Buffalo’s World Famous Wings and tenders are a useful change of pace when you’ve had enough beef. The coating gives the chicken a proper crunch, while the Buffalo sauce brings a noticeable spice kick without completely wiping out the flavour underneath.
The 16-piece order reaches $32.50, so this isn’t a casual add-on for most people. It makes more sense as something to share, particularly when several people are already reaching across the table for fries and burgers.
I prefer the wings when they’re still properly hot. That crisp coating, the heat from the sauce and the tender chicken underneath give you a much better bite than lukewarm wings that have been sitting in a delivery container.
Best Anywhere Shakes
The shakes deserve more attention than they usually get on a burger menu. They’re made with real ice cream, and you can tell from the texture before you’ve even finished the first few sips: thick, cold and creamy rather than thin and syrupy.
The Banana shake is the sleeper hit for me. It has that proper banana-dessert flavour without feeling like you’re drinking a carton of artificial banana syrup, and the hand-scooped ice cream gives it enough richness to stand on its own.
It’s also one of those shakes that makes you slow down. You don’t casually finish a thick ice-cream shake in thirty seconds while driving home; you end up wrestling with the straw, watching the foam settle and wondering why you ordered something this filling after a burger.
That’s the Fatburger experience in a nutshell. The food isn’t built around being the fastest possible meal, and the $18–$20-plus combo territory can feel steep for something labelled fast food, but the made-to-order cooking, Alberta Angus beef, substantial portions and real ice cream put it much closer to premium fast-casual dining than bargain-bin fast food.
Fatburger Alternatives Worth Trying
Fatburger can get pricey, so I sometimes look elsewhere for a different burger or a better fit for my budget.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Fatburger Canada Menu
What vegetarian options can you get at Fatburger?
The vegetarian section isn’t treated like an afterthought here. The Veggie Burger is $12.49, the California Veggie is $14.36, and the Impossible™ Fatburger comes in at $14.99, so there are a few genuinely substantial burger options without beef.
For something on the side, Yam Fries are $8.11 and Onion Rings are $6.86. I’d take either over a sad little handful of lettuce pretending to be lunch.
Is there a kids’ menu, and how much is it?
There’s a proper kids’ menu, with the smaller portions priced sensibly. A Kids Mini Fatburger or Hot Dog costs $7.49, while the Kids Chicken Tender, Grilled Cheese, and Mini with Cheese are $8.11.
For a child who doesn’t need a giant adult-sized burger and mountain of fries, that’s a much more reasonable order.
Can you get a gluten-friendly burger at Fatburger?
You can ask for your burger as a lettuce wrap or without the bun, and the price stays essentially the same as the regular menu item. That makes the swap fairly straightforward when you’re avoiding the bun.
I’d still speak directly with the staff about your requirements. The kitchen is busy, and shared fryers mean there can be a risk of cross-contamination, so this isn’t something I’d treat as a guaranteed gluten-free setup.
Does Fatburger have family meals or cheap combo deals?
Fatburger isn’t really the place for a giant bucket-style family meal. Instead, the “Big Fat Deals” section gives you individual combo options, which works better when everyone wants something different.
The All Dressed Hot Dog Meal is $11.24, while the Double Straight Up Cheeseburger Meal reaches $17.49. I usually look here first when I want the burger, fries and drink together rather than building the order piece by piece.
Does Fatburger have seasonal or limited-time menu items?
The menu does occasionally get seasonal shakes and specialty burgers, so there can be something outside the regular lineup when you visit. Those rotating specialty burgers generally sit around the $14–$16 mark.
I wouldn’t plan an entire visit around one limited-time item, though. These things rotate, and the burger or shake you spotted online may not be around when you finally get there.
What are the most expensive things on the Fatburger menu?
The big-ticket items can get surprisingly expensive for a burger chain. A 16-piece order of Buffalo or Boneless Wings is $32.50, while 12 Tenders cost $30.00.
The Double Kingburger is another heavy hitter at $21.86. Add fries and a drink and you’re well past the price of a basic fast-food meal, so those are the numbers I’d keep in mind before ordering for a group.
What is the cheapest thing to order at Fatburger Canada?
For the absolute lowest spend, the Side of Gravy is just $1.86. Bottled Water is $2.79, Soda is $2.99, Apple Juice is $3.29, and Crispy Skin-On Fries are $4.99.
Of course, gravy alone isn’t exactly dinner. If I wanted an actual bite while keeping the bill low, I’d look at the $9.99 Baby Fatburger rather than trying to survive on a side order.
The Bottom Line
Fatburger isn’t trying to be a $5 value-menu joint, and I wouldn’t judge it like one. Once you accept that you’re paying for made-to-order Alberta Angus beef, bigger portions and a slower cook, the $16–$20 range for a proper meal starts to make more sense.
My sweet spot is still the Original Fatburger meal. If I’ve got roughly $16 to $20 to spend, I’d rather have that burger with fries and maybe swap the drink for one of those thick, hand-scooped shakes than spend $30-plus on wings or go straight for a mega-double.
Prices can move around a little depending on where you order. A Fatburger in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton or Ontario can carry slightly different pricing because of local lease costs, franchise structures and operating overhead, but from the locations I checked, the difference was usually pretty small—often just spare cents or around a dollar rather than some wild province-to-province jump.
I keep an eye on these numbers and update them regularly because nobody enjoys reaching the counter expecting one price and getting sticker shock at checkout. Delivery apps can also add their own markup or fees, so the in-store or official ordering price is the figure I’d use when planning my budget.
For me, Fatburger earns its place when I want a proper burger rather than the fastest possible drive-thru meal. What’s your local Fatburger charging right now, and do you think the jump over a typical fast-food combo is justified—or have you got a go-to order that beats mine?

Hi, I am Christopher Hopper, the food writer behind Canada Menu Hub. I live right here in Canada and absolutely love exploring our incredible food scene.
I created this website after getting frustrated with how hard it is to find current restaurant prices online. Since I already love writing and discovering new places to eat, I decided to fix the issue myself.
My mission is simple. I track down the latest menus, verify the costs, and update the prices here so you know exactly what you will pay before you order. When I am not writing articles or checking menu updates, I am usually traveling the country looking for my next great meal.
